About East Aurora School District 131

Tuesday mornings run differently across District 131. On the dates marked for late starts, full-day Pre-K and students in grades K-8 begin an hour later than usual. Half-day Pre-K keeps its regular sessions. East Aurora High School has its usual Tuesday start time, while Extension Campus follows a separate Tuesday bell schedule.

Five half days are scheduled before the planned last day: September 17, October 30 and December 18, 2026, plus March 5 and April 30, 2027. Students also have no classes October 8-9 for parent-teacher conferences or October 12 for Columbus Day, making five consecutive days off when the weekend is included. Spring conferences take place the evening of March 4, followed by a half day March 5.

The district calls November 25-27 Fall Break, covering Wednesday through Friday of Thanksgiving week. Winter Break runs December 21-January 1, but students return January 5 because January 4 is an institute day. Spring Break is March 29-April 2. With a separate non-attendance day on March 26, students are out March 26-April 4 and return April 5.
