About Oswego Community Unit School District 308
SD 308's fall conference schedule depends on grade level. On October 22, junior high and high school students have five-hour school days. On October 23, junior high students have no classes, while high school students attend for five hours. Early Childhood and K-5 follow their regular schedules on both dates.
November conferences affect younger students differently. K-5 students have a five-hour day on November 19 and no school on November 20. Early Childhood students are also off November 20, but their November 19 attendance needs confirmation because the district's published calendar contains conflicting instructions. Junior high and high school students follow their regular schedules on both November dates.
After winter break, students return on Tuesday, January 5, 2027; January 4 is a teacher institute day with no classes. Spring break runs March 22-29, and students return Tuesday, March 30. Parent-teacher conferences on March 17 and 18 do not shorten the school day.
