About Valley View School District 365U
K-12 students begin the school year on Thursday, August 13, 2026, while Early Childhood students start on Monday, August 17. The district has teacher institute and work days scheduled for August 10-12, before students return.
The two election days have different schedules. November 3, 2026 is an e-learning day, so students have remote instruction rather than a day off. April 6, 2027 is a no-school day. Classes also remain in session on Veterans Day, November 11, when the holiday is observed at school.
Fall parent-teacher conferences take place on the evening of October 29 and the morning of October 30. There is no student attendance on October 30 or on the November 2 school improvement day. Students then have e-learning on November 3. Thanksgiving break runs from November 23 through November 27, with classes resuming November 30.
