About Naperville Community Unit School District 203

Naperville 203 students attend classes through Thursday, December 23, before winter vacation begins on December 24. The break runs through January 7, with classes resuming Monday, January 10. January 7 is also listed as an institute day, but it falls within the winter vacation dates rather than adding an extra day off. Including the final weekend, students have 17 consecutive days without classes.

Thanksgiving break runs November 24-26, with students attending school November 22 and 23. Later in the school year, March 21 is an e-learning day for Election Day, so students have remote instruction rather than a holiday. Spring vacation runs March 27-31, and classes resume April 3. A separate school holiday on April 14 gives students another day off later that month.

Friday, May 5, is a half-day of classes for K-12 students, while Early Childhood has no school. The annual calendar does not list dismissal times. Families should check with their schools before making pickup or childcare arrangements.
