Community Consolidated School District 15 School Calendar 2026-2027

The 2026-2027 school year begins Wednesday, August 19, with a half day for Early Childhood and grades K-8. Before classes begin, elementary families have Meet the Teacher on August 17, while middle school students can attend Walk Your Schedule that same day. November 3 is an E-Learning Day, with students learning from home rather than attending classes in person.

Friday early release is part of District 15's regular weekly schedule, but dismissal times depend on the school. Tier 1 schools finish at 1:20 p.m., Tier 2 at 2:15 p.m., and Tier 3 at 3:05 p.m. The annual calendar also lists half days on August 19 and May 20, plus a half-day finish on the applicable last day of school. Those half-day dismissal times should be confirmed separately; Conyers Learning Academy and preschool programs also have their own schedules.

Students have no classes throughout Thanksgiving week, November 23-27. Parent/teacher conferences take place November 23-24, followed by a nonattendance day on November 25 and Thanksgiving Recess on November 26-27. Winter Break runs from December 21 through January 1, with classes scheduled to resume January 4. Spring Break is March 22-26, 2027, and students are scheduled to return March 29.
